Hello, I’m Joel from Salem Oregon. There were plenty of trials and tribulations before I realized becoming an artist was the life for me. My dad knew I was going to be an artist way before I did. His encouragement led me down the road to becoming an illustrator and eventually returning to WWU to complete my degree. All that doodling during class in middle school finally paid off.
